this site and my love life ........

young lady at coffee shop said the turn signals on her diesel 123 coupe had stopped working. told her i would take a look. checked the fuse. it be ok. went to this site and did a search on turn signal relay. under the console. took a relay out of one of my 123's and went back to effect replacement. oh, also found that turning on the hazzard lights may cure turn signal problem. sure enough it did. gave her the option of replacing her relay or going with a possible temporary fix ala hazzard light item. she chose replacing the relay. two minutes later job done. boy did i look like a genius. and all because of this site. and she was most grateful! if you know what i mean. in my dreams of course. love this site.

Ha

Maybe your at the wrong college..

So mkany riced out Hondas, and a-holes driving daddy's BMW, that when they see the W115 its like a stately blast from the past. I personally think older Benzes (especially W115, W123, and W116) exude much more class than the current E and S classes of the day.

You can probably fix this by carefully prying apart the hazard button unit and cleaning it. The location of the switch allows dust, crumbs and whatever to get inside the switch and mess it up. They come apart and go back together well.

That would give you another chance to "see" the young lady again.

Good luck,

Let us know when your first diesel tune up together is...its always a memorable occasion in my books!

Every girl I have dated so far (since I have had my mercs) has helped me work on them at one point or another.

Yes, there is nothing quite like laying over a hot motor

Very clever. You sound like a pro.
