ac problem '85 300sd
My ac works perfectly when on the road. Even have to keep turning up the heat. Problem is at start an in town. It won't start cooling until I get the revs up. Seems to work if I drive around town in low gear but that's a bit noisy. Any suggestions?

where are you at and what is the weather?
around here its so hot and humid that sounds about normal....temps in the 90's will tax the system at low rpms...
