What Is This!?

I'm flushing the cooling system on my 240...the haynes manual says that there is a plug/bolt that needs to be removed from the engine itelf in order to completely drain the system.

Double-U Tee Eff? Where is this curséd plug/bolt???

I'll go look for it and if I can't find it in five minutes, I'll be back here; and I expect there to be page upon page of information waiting for me when I return!!!

Now, my little elves, get to work!

(please?)

I'm sorry.

I was joking. But yeah, I sort of can't find the dame thing.

Look for a 19MM bolt just in front of the starter at the bottom of where you would imagine the water jacket to be. You are lucky- on a 240D you should be able to see it. On a 300Dt you can only FEEL it.......

If it's never been removed, you might want to consider leaving it alone.

I shall do the oil tomorrow before work. I do not have enough for it this evening/afternoon.
