changed fuel filters-now won't run
I am in the process of putting my spare engine in my car. The engine has not run in 6 months. So I thought I would change the fiilters and get it running before I changed it out. Changed filters-with hand pump, pumped fuel through top of main filter.Walked away for a day and did it again. After all of the air is out, closed bleed screw and pumped 150 more times. I thought I heard a buzzing sound. Tryed to start engine 4-5 times. Broke the lines coming out of the IP and there no fuel coming out. There is a lot of fuel coming out of the top bleed screw when you hand pump it. What am I doing wrong?thanks.

Sounds like you still have air trapped inside the IP.
Crack a Fuel line from the IP and use the Primer Pump until you see fuel seeping out. Do the same for the other lines and then try to start the engine.

start
I will try cracking a line and pumping some more. How many pumps does it take to pump it through the lines?
