Has anyone had any luck in unsticking the rear window washer nozzles? They are mounted directly above the rear glass. Is it necessary to remove interior trim pieces to get at the nozzles to blow compressed air through them? I have tried to run a thin pin through them from the outside, but they remain blocked. The pump is running, and solvent ends up in the rear wheel well, presumably oozing out from the back pressure because the nozzles are clogged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Joseph, any possibility that your feed
tube is crimped somewhere and causing
innefficient flow and back pressure?
I had similar problem with front winshield washer
on my W123. Turned out to be the feed tube
crimped under the hood hinge mechanism.

this won't help right now, but later...

...this could help prevent future clogs. Install a El-cheapo fuel filter in the washerfluid line. Try to find one that is made of clear palstic, that way you know when it's of no further use.

123 Wagon-rear washer

I had problems with mine several years ago and it turned out there was a crack in the feed line causing the fluid to run down inside the tailgate and soak the tailgate liner.
As I recall, I was able to trace the feed tube, find the leak and splice in a patch. Haven't had any trouble since.
Good luck!

Most of the time it is wax in the sprintzer.{tech term]Unhook the hose at the bottle our any easy to get at connection.Get your peice of fine wire insert in nozzle.Put air pressure in hose while stiring wire.Remove wire put finger over nozzle feel for air, with pressure still on.If no air repete process. When you feel air.Hook the hose back up.Work sprintzer. It will probley work for a mmilesecond and than stop again.Go back to step one.You will get it just keep trying. This assumes that the pump is running.Good luck Michael.

the cleaning tool used for cleaning the holes in welding and cutting torch heads works real good as it has a number of strong stiff wires of different diameters. a good tool for cleaning other small openings too. Can be bought at any welding supply shop for a couple of dollars.
