This is such a sweet car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-S-Class-300sd-1979-mercedes-300sd-turbo-diesel-116-300-sd_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6336QQitemZ4593963938QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I think that I like the 116 the best. What do you think?

I have grown to like the 116 300SD. The newer ones (124s) l don't like so much.

I own both a W116 and a W123.....

Both run very well...but the W116 has the superiour feel and handling to it compaired with a W123 which feels like a far cheaper car....

The W116 is my summer ride (to keep it rust free)

My W123 is my daily driver year around.

Did you read the first question on this auction?

"Am interested in this car. Do you still have it available? My payment is via certified cashier's check. And i will include an excess payment to the payment that i will send to you. And the extra amount will goes to the shipper and you will send it to him via western union for the shipping purpose.cos is the shipper that will come to your base to pick the car up after you might have send wire the balance via western union. Now i want you to tell me your final asking price. Also i want you to let me know if you are trusted in this regards, Thank you"

These guys never give up.

My MBs

the 1965 190dc is my project right now, but is soon to be done. The 1984 300D I bought with my uncle, and i have my father in-law running Biodiesel in my 1980 300sd, and it's picture is from the day I bought it. The 500sel is just fun to have around in case I want to go fast.

nice. Do you have any decent interior wood pieces or the chrome that fits into the windshield rubber on the bottom drivers sidecorner of the windshield? Oh sorry, I forgot, yousaid it was your parts car. It actually is an attractive color on the road. Real Slick

....I put the best pieces on my tan one....plan to attempt to refinish the spare set when I get bored. Cracks in the clear finish....I actually like that color better than Tan....

Luckily they are cheaper and easier to find than W123 Euro headlights....real Bosch units...in great shape cost me $75 for the pair...the bumpers were unfortunately not nearly as easy to find or as cheap...$550 for the set front and rear....
