Whoopie!- Block Heater Works!
Well- she wouldn't start this am, but I found the cord (wound up and stuck behind the headlite), and after cleaning the grunge off of the plug and having her "plugged in" for 4 hours- she started beautifully.
The temp guage read "40," not "50" as some others have posted, but she was outside at the time. I'm still considering swapping the glowplugs and changing the oil.
I'm wondering though- when I'm out at a place where I can't "plug in" how often would you all suggest I run the motor to keep her warm enough to start? Thanks in advance- J
