Are there any pick and pull yards in CT that have 80's Mercedes diesels?

there's a good size yard off rt 9 in Higganum I've used, don't know if they have MB, but they were OK to deal with. I won't go near the places in Bpt/Stratford area-crooks.

norwalk used to have a couple of yards (famous home town boy randy lajoie's father owned one...)
got many parts over there for my '73 bug but not sure if they allow pick and pull anymore...

just remembered. met a guy about 5 years ago, friend of a friend. Owned a place called Pandolph's around middle of the state - specialized in european wrecked cars. seemed like a decent guy. Never tried his yard because about that time I had just picked up a parts car to avoid the hassle of always looking for this or that part. It's been worth it for me, even though I paid too much for it.

What's the name of the yard? Didn't know there's a town by that name. I'm surprised to hear there are still pick and pulls in various parts of the country with the associated liabilities. Damm insurance co's.

Last I went there a few years ago there weren't too many euro cars there. Decent place though.

The best place I had come across was Chuck and Eddy's in Southington. The pricing was outrageous on some things. But if you leave, they junk it anyway and just grab it

East Coast Auto Salvage

is the name of the place in Higganum. It's about 14 miles North on Rt 81 from I-95 at the Clinton Exit (I forget the exit number).

I was there 2 weeks ago, and they had an 82 300SD and an 85 300D, or was it the other way around? I pulled the blower motor out of the 300D for my 85 300TD, tested it with some leads off my battery and put it in right in their lot (only took about 5 min). Total cost was $34.30 and they warrantied the part for 3 months.

There was another 300D up on top of a stack of cars ready for the crusher, though I wasn't about to climb up to it.
