Question 76 300D goes to idle

Hello,
I have a question about a 300D. It starts and runs great, but when driving, and it seems when rounding a corner, the engine goes to an idle of sorts then dies?? Fuel filters have been changed, flex fuel lines from tank to hard line have been changed, injector return lines have been changed...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..Thank You

Does the engine start faster if you hand prime after the stall? Could be sludge in the tank if the engine is starving fuel. Drain tank, pull screen and clean, rinse out and biocide tank.

Could be bad motor mounts. Motor racks and makes throttle cable hang.

Could be bad/dry bushings on the rotating firewall throttle rod.

If an oil bath air filter, you may have the oil level too high.

Had this problem on a volkswagen diesel. Never was able to explain the rational for it. Took me a couple of days to find it. Was a hairline crack in the water separator under the floor area under the back seat. Made no sense to me but was the absolute cause. Separator did not leak fuel. Defied logic in my opinion but problem ceased when i changed it. Only died out and quit on left turns that were moderatly sharp or worse. Started right up again with key every time. So you may still be looking for an air leak.

Thumbs up 76 300D goes to idle

Well, I checked most of the areas mentioned in the replies, Thank You for the info. In the course of that I rechecked the fuel filter, it was a NAPA filter. Changed it with a MB filter.... it now runs great....

Thanks Again for the tips
