Not MB not Diesel but need Help!

2001 Ford E350 Super, V10.
Trip in Arizona from NJ.
Tranny just quit. No forward or reverse, grinds going into park. Motor runs fine and no cells. Fluid level reads okay, nice color and no burnt smell.
Drive shaft spins in relation to rear diff.
Was on freeway going fine, no slip then pulled off at off ramp and w/ some token vibes for 1~2 secs, the tranny now feels like it has all neutrals....The van will crawl in R or D but has no reaction to motor rpms.
Of course I am 2000 miles from home and 2000 miles passed the 36K warranty. Ford doesn't seem to have an extended powertrain warranty.
Should have greased it here but needed the rv.
