Cost of a new tank, 1982 300D
Anyone know how much the fuel tank for a 1982 300D would be?
I'm weighing that against the cost of having a radiator shop clean it (and rust-proof it) after I discovered rust flecks in a generic fuel filter I installed before the stock pre-filter last night. Pete.

Any pick-n-pulls in your area? I have no idea how much one would cost there but would a new one be available? Does anyone make them?

I work for an airline so I get 75% off of FEDEX or DHL. It would be a big box, but light. Probably $30-$35. I figured 25 lbs. 5' X 1' X 18". From Tampa. All I want is $25 for the tank, but remember, it's from a 240D. It may be smaller than the 300D. Check the manual. Paul central FL
