anti seize
Should I use anti seize on my glowplugs an my 95E300D? There didn't seem to be any on the old plugs. Any other mantiance that I should do while I have this intake off the engine? Thanks, Jay

By coincidence, I asked the same question last Friday of the Service manager at my local Mercedes dealership. His answer was a resounding NO

Sorry, but I just quoted verbatim what the service manager said. I am not sure that I agree with that myself, and he could be wrong of course.
If someone has the official Mercedes procedure, perhaps they can chime in. I am curious myself as I was going to have my Indepemden garage take out the glow plugs next week, and clean any accumulated carbon. That's the original reason that I asked the question of the service manager last friday.

I know this is the Diesel Discussion - but when ever I do spark plugs - I always never / anti seizze the top half of the thread count, and leave the bottom half raw...
