oil collecting on ac hose, how to deform your hood

Doing the old visual check of the 240D today and noticed oil on the lower ac hose. Sits about 4 inches in front of the oil pan where there is the usual seepage issue. No other source of oil identified. Oil lines to cooler look ok. Could vibration when the car is running but not moving throw oil onto this hose?

Also, had a nice experience bending my hood when the wind caught it while in the upright position. Tried to pull it shut not noticing that the lever had moved forward into the locked position. Gave it a good pull and watched the hinge move inward on the left. Closed the hood and sure enough, the near corner on that side is higher and farther away from the firewall body panel. Cursed my existence for awhile. Raised the hood and tried to move the hinge complex outward without much success. Ultimately, I think I improved it by opening the hood to the first position and pushing upward GENTLY but repeatedly. Not perfect but better. I'm not sure it was perfect before. The gaps on the side are symmetrical and the leading edge in front is the same. Sometimes we are our on worst enemy...
