Vehicle Data Card

On the inside back cover of the first of two MB Maintenance Booklet's I recieved with the 240D there is a space where it says "Glue in vehicle data card".

In it I have a card in German containing "Productions-Daten" such as Produkt-Nr. Aufbau, Fahrgestell-Nr etc. Is this the famed Data card that one can apply directly to the factory for? If so I guess I dont have to go thru that after all.
