Link to Thread on Replacing a 300D Transmission?

Over a year ago I found a great thread on removing a 300D transmission, but now that I'm ready to do the job I cannot find the thread. (And I assure you that I searched.) Anybody have a link or recall who may have posted it?

Also, any issues known about installing an 84 300D tranny in an 83 300TD?
