Ignition Switch vacume affects central air...

I just fixed my ignition switch with JB Weld and fabricating a piece for the "T" like Phidauex did in his post hereBroken ignition assembly? Repair it! (thanks! Phidauex) and noticed two things when I connected the two vacume lines reversed on the ignition switch. The ac would only blow out the defrost and not the front vents; and fuel shut off lever on the injection pump would work properly sometimes and sometimes not (a vacume would get held in the shutoff valve when it shoulldn't) When the shut off valve was at the border of on and off, the car behaved like a fouled fuel filter, injectors, GP, or bad pump: stalling or not starting. This info may help someone diagnose either of the two conditions (AC or poor running/no start)
