My new 83 300D w123 manual, some questions, pics.

Thats right vin starts with wdb123130. 150k but the odo is broken. Car is a mess inside, however none of the wood is missing. Dash is toast (3 long breaks in the material from window to inside), only the drivers window opens, sunroof button just dims the lights. AC WORKS (i think it wasnt super cold but cold enough). The seats are horribly horribly uncomfortable. No spring on bottom or back. Prev owner lost key so her bf removed the pins in the lock, so ign and door locks will be replaced. Due to ghetto rigging, owner had burnt out starter (or thats what I was told). It does spin but doesnt engage, pray to god its not the fly wheel. No power steering (belt musta blown on the way here it was on there when I looked at the car).

Worth the $1000 heck ya!!!!

Took her for a test drive. So much more peppy than my 80 300TD. The stick is pretty smooth and just wow. Not quite like my honda accord but not to far off either.

My question. What am I missing for trim in the trunk? This is what ever piece the trunk lid connects with. If someone has it I have a 80 300td for parts (not my daily driver) if anyone would be willing to trade.

My speedo goes to 140, but I've never had her above 97.

IMHO those pics are a waste of bandwidth, why don't you remove them?
