washer pump question

Battery acid leaked out and completely corroded and destroyed my washer fluid pump and I searched online and all the ones ive seen for my 1979 300sd have a flat style plug whereas the origional one used a cylinder type plug, is there anywhere i can just find a new flat style female jack or will i just need to go to a junkyard and get an oem pump?

Hmmm..........Could it be already modified to a newer style pump? When I looked the part up for your year, on Fastlane, the terminal were flat spades. When I looked at my year model, the terminals were round. Take a look and see if its the type you need.

yeah, i looked at different years and models to see what the other ones looked like and that wasn't the same type, the one i saw for my car is identical shape and style except for the plugs. I think i will just have to either find a good pump at a junkyard or a plugin for a newer style and buy a diff pump
