negative pressure zone at rear of 300td?

i just finished a 350 mile trip in brownie. i started the trip with a full tank of home brew bio d. during the first half i noticed and mentioned that the rear glass was getting dirty as we drove. at the half way point i looked at the hatch and glass and sure enough there were tiny bubles of moisture on the surface. i put in a few gal of bp diesel before heading home and the rear windo wcontinued to become opaque. the exhaust pipe tip it ends several inches before the bumper.

i know that some minivans have a wing at the rear to direct the wind over the rear glass to keep it clean due to a neg press area. is this what is happening to brownie?

i went out with some dawn and 2 gal of water in a bucket and washed it off. there was the slick oily bio and grimey black stuff prolly from the bp fuel.

how close is everyones exhaust tip from the bumper anyway?
