61X Motor Mounts

Well my dads 300D needs motor mounts, and we replaced the motor mounts when I put the motor in his 240D. I cheaped out and threw in some Anchor mounts with an order from another online source, I'd used Anchor in American application with success in the past, and figured they would be better than URO. Its been around a year and the anchors are collapsed and the 240 shakes as bad as the 300 does now.

Looked online Pelican and others seem to only have Uro available. I cannot find Phoenix anywhere (isn't phoenix who makes them for Mercedes?). They are $90 from the dealer, and given I need 4, that is a lot to spend on such a basic mount.

So! Does anyone know where to source a brand that is not Uro?

Or! Can someone link me to the thread where Mach1 filled his with polyurethane to prevent them from collapsing? I googled, and I found lots of people referencing his thread, but cannot find the original thread with pictures.

I have another set of Anchors brand new in the box, I considered filling them and giving that a shot.

For motor mounts, you want Lemfoerder or Phoenix. I'm pretty sure you can find both on eBay.

Get the lemforder/phoenix mounts for a turbo 300d, they will fit the 240d....they are just harder rubber, so that is why they don't show up for the non turbo 300 or 240...
