OM601 injection pump question

Howdy,

While attempting to change out my shutoff servo--where is that darn crowsfoot set anyway--I noticed that there is another servo on top of the shutoff valve. What exactly is this? There appears to be a tube sticking out that fits a vacuum line but nothing is hooked to it.

Any feedback?
