Why is it the negative side of my battery terminal accumulates verre de gris?
Nothing else is connected to the battery other then the cables... Whats wrong here? |

Acid leaking from the battery is corroding the terminal. Remove and clean both the terminal and post with a baking soda solution and sandpaper or a wire brush, and use silicone grease or vasoline to lubricate the connection before you reassemble.
