Braided fuel lines weep. 1984 300TD turbo
Hello all.
I have a 84 300tdt and the braided fuel lines going from the fuel tank to the overflow tank are weeping fuel. I would like to replace them but don't know which ones to get. Fastlane lists a few different size fuel hose. Which one do I need? Any help is appreciated. Louis.

Take a piece of what ever hoses you need replaced to your local parts house. They have good quality fuel hose at a cheap price. If you need a fitting crimped on they probably can do it for you.

I recently bought one meter of the braided line from the dealer for $13.

The hose he is referring to only lives on wagons. I think it is larger diameter than the injector return hose. Like Kip said, it should be easy to find a suitable replacemeny at an auto parts place.

in my experience any fuel line that you can buy at a generic auto parts place will be lucky to last three years.
i would only buy original benz parts on this one. they usually will last 20 years and more. tom w

The large hose is 7mm ID x 2.5mm wall (it's the same as the fuel supply line between the hard line & the filters under the hood.)
The smaller two hoses are 5mm ID x 2.5mm wall. I think that the part number for it is 1074763126.

I bought a meter of braided fuel return line(between injectors) at the dealer today for a grand total of **$17.50**
Seemed a bit high to me-- not that it fits here, but why the big difference between my dealer and Craigs?!? 4 dollars is 4 dollars-- I could have traveled 35 miles on that money!
