In Texas, its 25 years. You can then register them as "Antique", and not be able to drive it very often, or register as "Classic" which has no driving restrictions.

I had a '70 Pontiac Bonneville ragtop registered as "Classic", and even found some 1970 plates to put on, had them approved by the state, and got to use them. I sold the car in 2002. 25 gallons of premuim with lead substitute was quite expensive even then. It had 120k original miles on it when I sold it. All numbers matched, too.

I drove a Marauder once. It was fun. Did nice smokey burnouts. Owner of the car said it was lacking in power. I told him it needed an itailian tuneup. Ran much better afterwards.

I give mine one every time I drive it. The Vortech T trim helps too!

Heres a Marauder vid with a few Burnouts http://youtube.com/watch?v=0SNYgD8W-oU&search=marauder

I have a co-worker who is from the UK. He always refers to Mercedes as Mercs. He says that it is a European 'term'. I have picked it up over time just because it is shorter. Call me lazy.

I was under the impression that if you didn't own one, it was a Mercedes, and if you did own one, it was a Benz.

In other words, only Benz owners may refer to their car as a Benz, all others must use the word Mercedes.

To me, a "merc" is a mercury (for some odd reason, the outboard comes to mind first, then the vehicle)

Oh yes. And the fact that I drive the 120 hp 300D as my daily driver makes it feel even faster!
