Opinion Needed - Is this 603 #18 Head A Dud?

Would you pay this money to buy a repaired #18 head? The last PO must have really overheated this new-type head to crack it. It is hard to believe that welding the crack can fix the problem in the #6 cylinder. Anyone has a welded head and happy with it?
