W124 602 Vacuum Shut Off
Hi all,
I've been searching and have found a lot of good information for the 616 and 617 engines about removing and replacing the vacuum shut off on the IP. However, I can't find anything specific to the 602 engine in my 91 300D 2.5. I have the new vacuum shut off and o-ring but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the shut off out of the IP. Do I have to turn it to get it out, or what do I have to do? Thanks for any help!

Sorry everyone, I just now managed to get it out. With daylight back, I was able to see a plastic lock ring for an electrical connector which was blocking the path. With that out of the way it came out no problem.
On the 602 IP, the stop lever does go down when vacuum is applied to the shut off, just for reference.
