Hi I'm a Brit living in Spain getting my spares and advice from the U.S.
Have just had a new cylinder head, sourced from clearwater cylinder heads Florida fitted to my 1989 300TD turbo estate. My Spanish mechanic says he can't get it to start and has had the head on and off 3 times to check alls OK. I assume he thinks the fuel pump is OK. My Spanish is not so good. He asks me if it has an immobiliser fitted. I'm not sure as I have never had a key fob or similar. I seem to remember the horn sounds if I unlock the passenger side first. I guess thats some form of alarm. How can he check whether it is immobilised or not? Any help gratefully received Last edited by trefor; 08-09-2006 at 04:07 PM. Reason: No response |
