I'm about to order all the vacuum lines and connectors to replace all the old that's in my '83 300SD...my question is how much line/hose should I order in the various colors and how many connectors.?...I remember seeing a thread stating all the part numbers for the connectors and lines...but not how many/much of each. Advice?

I did this on the SDL. I just bought like a meter of the rubber line, and 1/2 a dozen of the various style connectors. That did a lot, next parts order I did some more, and so on. The hard plastic vacuum lines don't seem to ever need replacing. At least on the SDL those are all in great shape.

Just an fyi on what I noticed, the connectors over by the turbo were all dried out and shot. While the ones on the drivers side were still in decent shape. Makes sense the turbo and exhuast manifolds are the hottest things on the car.
