1976 300D Throttle linkage

Hey Guys, I did a booboo.

I had a nut on the linkage that goes over the valve cover on my 300d that was locked tight, and was causing me to not be able to get full throttle movement out of it. Well, in the process of trying to loosen it, the shaft twisted off. I haven't had much luck thus far getting a replacement.

This is the tube that slides to allow full throttle and low idling. I have it wired currently, but it won't give me full throttle without the engine idling too high. Any ideas for a replacement? Can I send someone some cash for a used one laying around???

Please??
Tim
