Oil change today and found leaking injector
I had noticed the car nailing recently. Could a leaky injector be the culprit? It is the #6 injector. Could it be the overflow line leaking? It was leaking enough to run down to the bottom of the engine and drip. Do I need to rebuild the injector or just replace it with a new one?
![]() Slightly off topic: I took an oil sample and will send it to Blackstone. Car has been running on WVO or SVO since last oil change (@3800 mi.) I'll post what Blackstone has to say.

it can't hurt to replace the overflow lines.
they are cheap, and they usually do leak, and when they leak, a LOT of fuel will spill down the side of the block.
I don't belive nailing can be caused by a leaking fuel line. afaik, nailing is caused by bad injectors or compression problems due to bad fuel injection chambers etc... John
