Will all 617 series (excluding marine) exhaust manifold gaskets interchange? or is there port size/emissions add on differences?

Should be the same.
Fastlane shows part number H4009-59251 for a 78 300D and 85 300D. Same goes for the W115, W116 and W126.

FOR THE RECORD:

Exhaust manifold gaskets from ANY 617 series engine will fit any other 617 engine.
