I'm planning on doing some MAJOR rust repair in my engine compartment, and while having the engine out, want to do a re-seal and detail, so my question is: is there any way to remove the Injector Pump witout losing my timing?

and, if I remove the IP and seal all orifices up GOOD can I just give it a good scrub to clean it up?
