Turbo a Non turbo 617.912

I know, This has been asked Many times before......

BUT-

Here in the U.K, the Turbo 617 appears to be a VERY rare beast indeed....I would grab one if I could find one, Not sure if there were any imported, or what vehicles they may have been used in....

Anyway, Has anyone just added a pump and turbo to an otherwise Standard N/A 617 engine? Obviously, the Oil-pump would need changing to cope with the extra need of the turbo, I should be able to get a .952 pump. I could even source Turbo pistons, But the rods are different too--After that, It just gets TOO expensive!....

So, Anyone done it to a Standard engine?--What happened, Is it still going?
