Talking about eBay overpriced MBZ

Look at the upside down trunk badge, and the missing fuse cover, lets see what I miss…http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/240D-run-biodiesel-vegetable-oil-diesel-or-all-3_W0QQitemZ160034644343QQihZ006QQcategoryZ6329QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Missing knob on the defrost/floor slider.
Krinkled door post trim.
Driver and passenger b-pillar cloth worn.
No air filter snorkel.
Hacked in turbodiesel cooling system/tank (Notice that gravity is all that's holding the cooling tank in place.).

Lower trim piece on left front fender missing.
Seat back nets stretched out of shape, drivers side looks broken.
Incorrect radiator cap (on incorrect expansion tank).
Overall wear on interior/seats.
Screw covers on lower dash cover missing.
Rubber bumper corners look scuffed.
Missing door pillar switches on driver's door.
Missing insulation on front AC pipe.

Of course, all that WVO crap would have to be disposed of.

Nice clean exterior, but this car is probably worth closer to $3000, actually less due to the WVO.

Oh, and that is NOT a white car.
Cowl rain drain/nipple missing on passenger side.
Windshield washer tube is hanging free.
It's a 1 tank WVO "conversion"

Seems like the hood on the drivers side is
crooked and sticking up near the windshield.
The interior of the drivers side fender is darker
or dirtier than the passenger side.
Add to this that the trim piece is missing as
mentioned before.
Does this all lead up to "accident"?

The driver seat is dirty, like someone put
his greasy hand on it.

The wood under the center vents is bent outward.

The cargo nets look a lot worse then mine and
I have 290K miles and these where not pampered
miles, after I bought it I desided to clean the interior
and I found straw under the rear seats(wagon).
I also found a business card to CT strip club.
Probably visited by PO.

Louis.

Even picking it apart, it's worth something to somebody... it's up to $5999 now. Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder.

You guys see it all, amazing! The upside down star is troubling, it suggests a repaint after danage by someone who was careless.

The Nissan dealership license frame means it might have been traded to a place that sells Nissans, and the blue plates are a 1984 issue, so it either had personalized plates before, was originally out of state or license plates replaced after a wreck or being stolen - who knows?

Maybe the magic of "Biodiesel" is keeping the price and interest so high.

My 300D has >364,000 miles and its interior looks better than that.

The exterior is a different story.

I suspect that the odometer is broken. I've yet to see a car with a broken odometer that didn't have it's trip odometer reset to zero. People just can't resist pushing that little button . Why would the seller reset the trip odometer before taking the pictures? That's certainly not a 151K mile interior. Mine looks better than that, and it's real leather...with an additional 44K miles...mostly city driving...mostly in New Orleans!

As for the veg oil system, what an I missing? If it's a one-tank system how do you start up without starting on cold veg oil?
