How much oil into a 93 300D. No manual.

I checked the owners manual, but it is for a 93E and doesn't mention diesels. What is the oil capacity?

not sure about the 93, but my 92 takes 7 quarts.

Probably 7-8. Put 7 in, start it and see where it is.

For my 91 i just dump in 2 gallons,with a new filter that puts it about 1/8" above the full mark,no problems so far. Don

Last change I bought 8 qts of M1 5W40, put 7 in (read full). Started it, let it build pressure, revved it a couple times and shut down, read a little over 1/2. Since I know my engine burns nearly no oil I just let it sit and kept the eighth quart of M1 in the trunk. If yours burns a bit I would fill to just under the full mark.

I believe those numbers are from the 603. The 602 uses around 3/4 quart less if I remember correctly. Can't check WIS now because it's at home. Try looking up the numbers for the 250DT, which is what the 300D 2.5T (124.128) was called in the rest of the world.

Mine uses two gallons, or eight quarts.
