indicator lamps in gauge cluster

I tore my guage cluster out of my car and i found that i had two bulbs plugged into the back passenger side of it. The bulbs were in the second from the left and far right hole.
Are all of these holes supposed to be filled or empty?
The reason i am asking is that i do not get a glow plug light behind the coil, but i do get a lamp just to the left of it most of the time.
Andrew

not all the places may be filled depending on the options your car came with. most of the time there's a little band around the wires with the bulb telling you what positionin it goes in. I'm not sure on the older models though

Like stated above your wire should have little itty bitty tags on the wires that tell you which one goes where, assuming they are still there. One goes in the far out side position(Glowplug light) the other goes in the 3rd hole from the end which is the seatbelt light. Look at the front of the cluster and you be able to figure out which holes need the lights.

Or, you could just do what I did... peek and poke with the cluster out a bit. I figured out which was the glow plug and got it in the right hole etc... etc... etc...

Din know about the little tiny tags though.

they are standard guage cluster bulbs. I imagine you can get german made bulbs somewhere. They look to cross to sylvania 2721 bulbs
