W123 DIY etc site - sorry it's in French
Was getting irritated at finding nothing but $400+ trailer hitches for my 300TD I decided I'd look in France since I'll probably head over there for spring break.
Came across this site : http://www.mercedesw123.info which has some great DIY stuff. I've even seen the exact fix for the clock that Richard Easley came up with here : even if you can't read french a lot of the articles have good photos. edit : HA...just found the DieselGiant odometer fix too...looks like they use solder though

That is a good forum. some of the guys are real mechanicians and their advices are really well targeted. Although their main focus is really the W123 and that includes the incredible variety of gasser that were available in Europe (200, 230, 250, 280, 230E, 280E, 280CE, 200T, 250T, 280T, 280TE, plus 200D, 220D, and 240TD).
They also have good discussions about options and accesories...

One could assume that Rashakor can read french. Here is something easy for those of us who can't. Copy the link-go to google-paste it onto browser/address bar-it is displayed in the search result-next to it is an option to 'translate page'. You might need to set your preferences on google to give results in english only.
