My 300Sd: I think it's terminal.....

Been noticing a sway during braking lately. Jacked it up on this fine turkey day only to find the entire subframe bearing bracket has rusted thru and seperated from the chassis? I'm wondering if anybody has attempted welding this area before. This is just after I replaced the entire front end about 2 years ago! Bummer. Funny, I've been driving it like this with no problems for the last month. Just adjusted the valves last month! Car runs like a dream. Now what?
