K40 relay module / '96 E300

Thanks to all who have posted about this subject in the past! Those posts pointed me to the K40 relay module in a '96 E300 that was brought to me. WVO conversion with VO controller wasn't working properly. There were a couple of other problems, but the underlying issue turned out to intermittent power caused by a failing K40. Fortunately it announced itself the other night by kicking out a random string of codes and then flashing the red/green lights on the rear view mirror, then cranking but refusing to start after having just been running 5 minutes before. Whenever the power was interrupted the VO Controller would reboot and be out of sequence, so no auto purge/shutdown.

Thanks to the posts I figured out the relay was on its way out. $117.00 from the dealer, 2 minutes tops to install, and all is well!
