W116 interior door pilar removal

Hello All,
On my 1980 300SD I want to remove the drivers side door pilar covering and clean/lube the seat belt retractor. It does not fully retract the last 6-8 inches of the belt. Does anyone in here have step-by-step instructions and/or photos of how to do this?
