Whats the most powerful Diesel you have driven in??
 

Has anybody driven in fast diesel???

1989 Citroen CX 2.5 turbodiesel intercooler 5 speed. was back then the fastest production diesel ever made.

I've driven a Freightliner FLD120. 450HP Cummins N14 mated to a 9-speed Eaton. :D

Does a 100 foot fishing party boat count with 3 1200 hp Mann Diesel's boat would cruise at 23 knots with 200 ppl on it lookin at whales at 30 knots she burns 120 gallons of fuel/ hour

Title says "powerful", post says "fast".

Most powerful was the USS INDEPENDENCE, CV-62 (an aircaft carrier to those who are wondering).

Fastest?? I guess there has to be a fastest, but it hurts my head trying to differentiate different levels of slow. :D

G450Cdi in Europe last summer. Fast and Powerful. The 4.5L from mercedes is a monter around 400hp and 600lbft. top speed? fast... even for a Gelandwagen.

Well, one time they let me borrow one of the Audi R10s to drive to work. But other than that, the 603 is the fastest diesel I've driven in.

My 2005 Silverado 3500 6.6 Duramax W/ allison tranny tuned with Superchips. High Perf is fast. I would put it against alot of these little ricers. Initial takeoff and handling sucks, but when that turbo spools up...forget about it.

15,000 tons or more, 12,000 horsepower, 32 cylinders and as much as two miles long.

I rode in and drove and 02 Dmax powered Chevy pickup with everything you can do to the engine done to it. Turbo, exhaust, air intake, chip, etc. Purportedly made 550rwhp. Very fast, I mean new corvette fast. They make ridiculous power and are still streetable daily driven vehicles. RT
