Engine Knock 240D

It might sell the entire car as parts/salvage or I might part it out and sell here or on ebay. If you have a need for a part post or send me a PM. I attached a couple of pics in original thread (page 3) of the destruction. I have not decided what I am going to do so give me a day or so for responses. I will comtemplate all resonable offers. The car is located in Central Missouri 20 miles east of Jefferson City.

Keep the car, buy another engine, do a transplant. Keep the old engine for traning on future jobs

That happed to my cheap project car too. I swapped in a turbo engine in a few days. Putting another 616 (240D) engine in would be even easier. Should be able to be done in a weekend.

I call it tan. Not sure what the MB color is offically called?

Light or dark? Maybe a pic? I need some interior guts for mine, that's if you decide to part it.

Light tan. I will post pics if I decide to part it out. I am thinking about an engine swap if I can find an engine for the right price and think I am able to do so?

could be the "palomino" color.. but by code its called Date

Go for the swap. It's simple enough and it will keep one more W123 on the road and out of the junkyards.
