HELP! My car is running perfect!
I've gotten pretty much all the bugs worked out of my car. Especially on the highway, I have never in my life owned a car that I've LOOKED FORWARD to driving so much, as this car. Smooth as silk.
There is, however, a fan button that popped off, I have to figure out how to get that back on. Photo attached. I'm guessing that something is wrong on one end or the other, either the shaft coming out or something missing on the button itself. I previously tried to glue the 2 together, but that's risky, as glue might drip down onto the electronics or something. What do you recommend? Jeff 1991 300d, 102k

i would say just push it back on. i have noticed in several brands of cars that thoes buttons come off very easy. and they just push back on.

Mine pop out but when I push the off button the one that was pushed in pops out and lands in the ashtray.
I think a small dab of model glue will do

Just call mercedes and they will probably buy it from you.
Great unusual addition to their collection. I have never heard of one before. Fix the button first though.

when my mbz don't have anything wrong with them I usually take something apart so that I can spend the rest of the day and evening putting it back the way it was before I started messing with it. Its even more fun when its about 15 degres out. Somebody needs to explain to my wife why we have 2 mbzs worth about $4000 together and leave our 2 $30,000 Plus vehicles outside , I need help, I'm running out of BS that someday will convince her.
