W123 Fuse panel??WTF?

Is there something I'm missing? I have a problem with my low beam circuit. Seems that the copper panels have melted into the palstic case. I some how in a previous attempt moved the wires from space 11 to space 5, but how did i do it? Is there any way to get more slack on the wires? I think for now Im going to try to jump from five back to 13 just to get the low beams back.

Any feed back on the wire issue would be great for the future

thanks

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but it sounds like you should consider replacing the fuse panel.

You've obviously never looked at the fuse panel in a late model gas w126. The w123 isn't any worse than a VW beetle.

I WILL say that the cover on a w123 box is a pain in the rump to get back on, however.
