Need to remove your td tank screen and you dont want to buy a huge allen wrench. Take a cheap 13/16 spark plug socket and drill a hole large enough to fit a phillips screwdriver through. The end of the socket that accomodates a wrench will fit perfectly in your tank screen.

I think that end is 9/16" hex (which is ~19mm.) Happens to fit the block heater plug in the engine block, also. Of course, need to put some more muscle on the block plug. Thanks for the tip. Could you check that dimension for me?

Don't even think about that. Whunter broke 2 Snapon (correct for the job) tools wrenching mine out. There is no way that sparkplug socket will hold up to the job. It will hold just long enough for you to put some tension on it and drive your knuckles into something painful when it breaks.

Good idea for the tank screen though.
