Folding stainless cup holders?
Nobody ever installed cup holders in my car, I was looking at these stainless marine ones instead of the standard crappy plastic: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08JPSB1WJ
Anyone try these ones out as to whether they are flimsy and rattly or just too shiny to match the interior?

The center console from a 94 o95 is a nice addition but no real cup holders.

I know, I know... but it looks like these folding door mounted cup holders were fairly commonly mounted in W124s and it's hard to find one now that isn't Chinese crap. At least these are metal Chinese crap, right?
Where I live, my average drive is 2 hours one way and I always bring a cup of coffee. I've been putting my coffee between my legs, lol If anyone has better options I'm all ears

Put your coffee in a Thermos type container with a cap that seals. Then you don't need a holder for it.

I just did a search for “wide base coffee mug”
There’s a few tough to tip options out there that look promising.

Thanks for suggestions, I already do use one of those Contigo sealed coffee mugs from Costco, but I don't love having it tucked beside me or bouncing around the car. And sometimes I do just grab gas station coffee in the paper cup.
Here in Canada, in SK in particular our roads are Very Poor and just about anything not secured will wind up on the floor or worse. I have a 20km drive on washboarded dirt/gravel before I even get to the potholed pavement, then another 50km to anything smooth-ish.

I have similar, but plastic ones, in my w124. They have held up for years. These should be better as the plastic ones do break eventually.
Also have a Contigo, that's a must, just in case you have a hard left turn and the retention arms give. You'll get a clunk on your keg, but it will stay dry You should also be able to spray them to match your door card color if that interests you. My black plastic ones are now Palomino and blend in when closed.

Hey, I don't have a keg! Though sadly I don't have the 6-pack anymore either
That's a good idea to spray them to match the doors, that would go a long way to making them look good. Mostly I've seen how bad those plastic ones can be especially with the cheap, non-stabilized plastic that ends up in a lot of these items now, so I'm hoping the SS ones will be better. I guess it's worth a shot.
