'96 E300 fuel outlet torque
I am replacing the orings on my fuel outlet nozzles that sit on top of the injection pump. I know there is a torque procedure as I read it once in the forums, but I am unable to find it now. Can someone give me the procedure and torque?

Thanks for the reply
Damn, I wish I hadn't found the torque elsewhere and finished the job before looking at your reply. Looks like I will have to redo it. When I pulled all of the outlets the washer (7f in the diagram) was sitting on top of the pressure valves below each spring and not under per the drawing. This made little sense to me as the id of the washer is greater than the od of the spring but I figured that is the way it was so........redo. Could someone confirm that this does in fact belong under the pressure value (7k in the diagram)?

IIRC the dia 7K is very small and it actually sits down inside 7G. Its not as if the washer is sandwiched between 7K & 7G. 7G actually contacts the beveled shoulder inside of 7 during assembly and the washer conforms to any irregularities present.

Thanks much. I was not looking forward to a redo that's for sure.
