Houston area help

Does anyone in the Houston area own the proper spring compressor needed to pull the springs out of an '87 300D? I have all of the parts needed to rebuild the front end of my car, but don't have the spring compressor needed to do the work. If someone has one they'd be willing to loan, rent, whatever, it would sure be appreciated. I'd like to get going on this work this weekend so I can finally get rid of the front end squeeks I've been listening to for months now. Also, I know there is a specific press called out to replace the ball joints, but has anyone used the Autozone press to do this job with success? I used it one the wife's 84 300D and it worked like a champ. I do not have access to a press, do not have the tools to fabricate special fixtures, and can't afford to pay someone to do this job. Like I said, I just did this work on the wife's car, but know the '87's are a little different. Please let me know if anyone can lend a hand.
