Hey everybody!
I bought a 1983? 280e Euro with a locked up engine for a parts car to repair my 1984 300D. the parts i bought it for were the hood, grill, light assemblies and radiator mount. however i'm wondering if any of you know if there are any other compatable pieces in there.
i hit a deer with my 300d back in january and the above parts were destroyed as well as the oil cooler (which i've replaced), air conditioning compressor, fan assembly and fan, radiator. possibly some damage to the water pump but i'm not sure yet.
i guess my main concern is the air conditioning compressor and radiator. i was wondering as well if the 280 radiator, which doesn't have an expansion tank, might have a plug that could be pulled to lead to an expansion tank. maybe a silly question but one modular radiator for the whole w123 series doesn't seem that far fetched to me.
