Engine seized?
How would I be able to tell if my engine is seized?

put a socket and breaker bar on the crank and see if it will turn

Can you explain what exactly the crank is?

Look at the car from the front. If you look straight at the front of the valve cover, then all the way down the engine block, there is a pulley with a few belts attached to it. That is the crank. There is a 27mm bolt on it that you turn clockwise (never go the wrong direction) to see if the engine is seized. You will need a deep socket to do it, as the bolt is set pretty deep in the pulley.
